What does CareFlash offer?

CareFlash offers private, secure, invitation-only Web sites, created by patients and their caregivers, which allow health updates to be posted regularly, site visitors to send messages and create an online community of support at a time when it is most needed.

CareFlash also offers an amazing group of three-dimensional medical animations that illustrate medical conditions and give visitors the opportunity to gain an understanding of an illness affecting a friend or loved one. COPD, pulmonary hypertension, ALS, MS and diabetes are some of the animations included.

CareFlash’s iHelp Calendar™ is an interactive site element that allows friends to schedule meal delivery, transportation assistance, organized visits, etc.

Public forums allow patients and caregivers to discuss medical issues and receive support from others in similar circumstances.

How do you work with CareFlash?

1. You can be a sponsor, which means all patient sites established through your referral will have a prominent ad on each Web page and will be seen by everyone who visits the patient’s site. Providers can expect hundreds of ad viewings monthly. Cost is $75/month for VGM Group Members. Sponsors are billed monthly and no long-term commitment is required.

2. You can refer patients to www.careflash.com as a value-added service. There is no cost for patients to use CareFlash. Your patients will appreciate your thoughtfulness, so this is a free public relations effort on your part.

3. VGM Forbin, the Web design company within VGM, will place a CareFlash link on all PowerWeb sites. The service is included in the price of the PowerWeb package. Social networking is changing our culture, and adding a CareFlash link enhances any medical Web site.
