Making a Dream into a Reality: Philipp Hoeltermann

We’re so excited to announce that Philipp Hoeltermann is the VGM Forbin Employee Spotlight for the month of January 2022! As a UI Developer, Philipp utilizes his attention to detail, curiosity, and collaboration skills to translate creative design concepts and ideas into reality for the customers in all the industries we serve. Thank you for rocking all day, every day!

We interviewed Philipp and this is what he had to say:

1. How long have you been working at Forbin:
   I've been working at VGM Forbin for 8 years.
2. What is your role at VGM Forbin?
   I am a UI Developer.
3. What's your favorite thing about your job?
   It would be changing lives through our websites.
4. An interesting fact you may not know about me:
   I'm originally from Germany.
5. Most importantly, if you’re stranded on an island what is one thing you would keep on you?
   I would have something with Spotify on it.
6. Cats or dogs?
   Penguins.

Here’s Why a Couple of Colleagues Think Philipp is a Rockstar:

Joshua thinks Philipp should be the employee spotlight because, “Philipp is not content to just contribute good ideas. He is compelled to make them a reality. In a recent call, he presented an idea to make our templates a better fit for customers' diverse needs. Very soon after, he was leading a meeting with different members of the team who would be involved to discover what would need to happen to bring those ideas to life. He learned what obstacles we could face, and the meeting helped bring everyone onto the same page, so we all understood which elements we had the flexibility to improve. The drive to improve our products shows how much he cares about VGM Forbin's position in the web space.”

Jesse also added, “Philipp is an unsung hero on the Bravo team. Not only is he the only interface person on the team, but he is also active and engaged in the scrum process. Without him, the Charlie interface team would not be able to focus on our future products and custom solutions. What he's doing is having a huge impact on VGM Forbin going into 2022 and beyond.”
