VGM Forbin Received Award for Best Technology Company Culture of the Year
At VGM Forbin, we've always believed that great technology starts with great people.
That's why we're excited to share that VGM Forbin has received the 2026 Prometheus Award for Best Technology Company Culture of the Year, presented by the Technology Association of Iowa. Winners were selected on November 5, 2026, at the Prometheus Awards ceremony in Des Moines, Iowa.
While we're honored by the recognition, what makes it especially meaningful is what it represents. This recognition reflects the people behind VGM Forbin, the employees who bring fresh ideas, support one another, take ownership of challenges, and help our clients succeed every day.

A Culture Where Ideas Have Somewhere to Go
Many companies talk about innovation. This year, VGM Forbin invested in a way to make it happen.
To help employees turn ideas into real solutions, we launched our Product Innovation Team (PIT), a dedicated group focused on evaluating opportunities, testing concepts, and moving promising ideas forward. In its first quarter alone, the team reviewed seven new business opportunities and major product improvements, advancing several toward development.
That mindset has already helped fuel innovations like HMECommerce, AI search capabilities designed to help clients stay visible as search evolves, and initiatives such as the Master Catalog project that continue to improve the value we deliver to customers.

Over the past year, team members have completed AI development training, Azure and Terraform certifications, project management education, developer conferences, leadership development programs, and platform-specific certifications.

Growing While Staying True to Who We Are
Over the past year, VGM Forbin has grown from approximately 45 employees to 65 while expanding its capabilities across managed IT, cybersecurity, enterprise application development, AI, technology consulting, digital marketing, and web solutions.
The culture we're building isn't defined by an award. It's defined by employees who are willing to share ideas, help colleagues succeed, embrace new challenges, and continuously look for ways to better serve our clients.
